Stages: Measuring stages

If the measuring distance is larger than the field which can be illustrated at the same time a measuring stage is used. Stages with micrometer srews and and digital measuring systems are availble. The electronic transmission permits the direct subsequent processing e.g. in Metric (MT variant). In this way transfer errors are minimized.

For maximum accurany measuring tables have to be set up in areas with constant temperature.
