Video measuring technology for the PC

Metric is a comprehensive program, which permits measurements of all kinds in a video live image. It is easy to install on PC or laptops and is available in the following languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch. Optional modules extend the measurement possibilities and special solutions help solve everyday measurement problems.

Metric in short words:

Different measurement possibilities are available: distance measurement, angle measurement, area measurement etc.
Multiform comparison mask to facilitate the inspection of structures in series production
DoubleCheck with split-screen technology, so differences in individual work pieces become obvious and can be documented
Overlay function, where two images are on top of one another, so deviations are easily visible
Measured values can be entered automatically in the table program Excel

Optional modules:

The timer module permits a selected number of images to be stored at set intervals of between 0,5 and 60 seconds, the maximum standard number of images is 1.000.

The video sequence module continuously records the camera image, so fast processes can be made visible. These images can be then treated with the video interface module.

The two-camera module measures the distances between the image of camera one and camera two, the distance between the cameras being calculated by a high precision length measuring system.

The density measuring module automatically determines the ratio of closed to open areas in percent.

The image database module keeps things in order, so images can easily be found when compiling documentation etc.

Special solutions:

MeshCheck: Specially programmed for analysing and measuring fabrics and screens in the filtration and screen printing sectors. Three measurement functions are possible:

automatic measurement of thread thickness, horizontally and vertically
calculates the angularity of the fabric
measurement of the total area, ratio of the defective open area to the overall area and mesh openings in the fabric in percent

ProfilCheck: Learns the shape of the master object for automatic comparison of the following objects with the master object in terms of shape, dimensions and completeness.

VolCheck: Requires a motor-actuated optical-system, thus to measure automatically the depth of drill holes, e.g. in matrix rollers in the printing industry.

HoleCheck: Automatic checking of circular openings in metal foil.

LetterCheck: For reliable recognition of letters, numbers, figures and markings in the manufacturing process.

IllumiCheck: Recognises the distribution of brightness over an area.

FibreCheck: Permits automatic and reproducible measurement of the thickness of individual fibres.

FlexoCheck: Automatically measures the screen count of a Flexo printing plate, the angles, the density in percent and the diameter of individual dots.

At your request, all programs can be adapted to meet special measurement requirements.
